CMK Cockpit

I can never build "out of the box." I always feel like I need to add extra detail, even if it's just adding some extra detail with strip and sheet styrene. The P-40 will be no different. The cockpit in the Academy kit is a little plane for me. Sometimes I'll scatchbuild the hole thing, and other times I'll pick up a detail set. I found a nice and reasonable cheep CMK cockpit set at Squadron. It's a very nice set and uses the right media for the appropriate parts. Photo-etch is limited to the instrument panel, and seat belts, and rest of the cockpit is made of resin. I hate phot-etch (it is my bane) and prefer to keep it to a minimum.
